Dear Dancers A Happy New Year to you all.
The Recent Past Dancing Carols – did you know that they were all once also danced? Making and sharing a new dance for the Huron Carol has been a touching experience - and though the Christmas season is past - I feel the song and dance very much alive in me. It was an interesting process altogether - a little of which is mentioned in my ‘choreography notes’ (see below). I am pleased to be starting a new monthly dance group in Hempton – I love the hall there and it is fairly accessible by road and not impossible by bus. I might try an event Wells again with a day group – I’d like to find some interaction with my immediate locality with music and dance. But I generally trust to nurture desire and move when the movement takes me – rather than try to make things happen. Life is (always) already happenning – and I am grateful to have the dance as a way to join and share.
I am happy to send these out as they seem appropriate and try to put enough but not too much information for an overview. Your willingness to receive is enough and I don't expect or require any feedback – but if you ever feel any – just mail me. I have a sense of our dance playing a part in our general ongoing wellbeing and that even a skim or a glance at some of this invokes the dancer – even if you don't then start dancing.

Sheringham Friends Meeting House I have swapped with Jane with regard to Sheringham group and I will now run the 2nd Friday in each month and Jane the 4th. We also have advanced it to 2.30 - 4.30 - which is 15m earlier than was. That means that any earlier dates given for me are now Jane’s dates and mine are now updated).
Hempton - Nr Fakenham Following on from ‘Dancing In the New Year’ I will be running a regular MONTHLY Saturday afternoon group in this rather lovely hall - (These dates interleave with Dawn’s Balkan Dance Group - See calendar page). 31 January - 7 March - 28 March - 9 May - 6 June - 4 July - 1 August
Norwich – The White House This meets currently fortnightly 7.30 - 9.45 and the day varies. Here are the dates currently booked: Monday 19th January. - - - - Monday 2nd February.
Sunday 8th February 2009 - - A Day Workshop Dancing in the Heart The White House : Norwich. 11 am – 5.30 pm. (Bring and share vegetarian meal) £15. Places must be booked (max 18 places).
Thursday 19th February - - - - Monday 16th March - - - - Thursday 2nd April.
